Chuck roast recipe
Ingredients :4 pounds round chuck roast, 2" thick
2 teaspoons meat tenderizer
3 green onions, chopped
1 garlic clove
1/4 green pepper (diced)
2 stalks celery, diced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1 dash cayenne
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup red wine of your choice
3 tablespoons peanut oil
Cut fat edges. Sprinkle both sides of the roast evenly with meat tenderizer.
Using fork, pierce the meat deeply.
Place the meat in a dish and top with green onions, pepper, garlic, celery, oregano, rosemary and cayenne.
Mix worcestershire sauce, burgundy wine and oil and pour it over the meat. Refrigerate overnight.
Prepare the grill.
Place meat about six inches from the heat, cook both sides until it's done as you like.
