Cream Cheese Pastry Recipe
American Cream Cheese Pastry
Ingredients :1 cup butter or margarine
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Beat cream cheese and butter in small bowl until blended. With spoon, blend in flour and salt until dough is smooth.
Shape in flat mound on a sheet of foil. Wrap and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before rolling and divide in halves or quart.
Place them on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 375 F for 15 minutes or until it gets puffed and golden.
